History

With an impeccable tradition, The London No. 1 is distilled in the North of London, using grains of the English countryside of Suffolk and Norfolk, unique in the world for the production of the best gins along with the purest water from Clerkenwell.

Description

Its 12 botanical are carefully selected and among them we can find berries from Croatia, bergamot from  Bergamo, Italian lily roots or Cassia from Hong Kong.

Tasting notes
  • Bright bluish aquamarine, pale.
  • Juniper berries aroma and balsamic herbs, with well integrated alcohol, resulting elegant and clean. Balsamic spicy and fresh with a long persistence. Is delicate and creamy on entry, with a passage dry on the palate for the quality distillation.
  • Soft but very aromatic, with quality balsamic. Very balanced with a long and sensual finish.

Observations

It's perfect for combining with tonic. Due to its composition and aroma, the result is a gin & tonic fine and delicate with pleasant and refreshing herbal notes of juniper and balsam, while mouth is creamy and delicate step, with strength and finesse at the same time, with an elegant sweetness offsets the bitterness of the tonic and a round final over sharp elegance. Sophisticated. Serve in tall glass with ice and width and a slice of lemon or green lime. Pour the tonic slowly over the edge, so it won't lose strength.
