Ingredients:

6 DropBitter de jengibre y chocolate
4 Cl.Cidre
1.5 Cl.Sirope de sidra y chocolate blanco
7 Cl.The Glenrothes Vintage Reserve

Preparation:

Aged cocktail during 7 days. Barrel inherited by Nacho Cuevas.

Previous steps: Borja tells us that for this project, they decided heal the barrel with The Glenrothes Select Reserve. In addition, the elderflower liqueur St. Germain was macerated with apple during 12 hours. Then a mixture of 2 parts of The Glenrothers Select Reserve with 1 part of this St. Germain is left in the barrel for a week. After that 7 days, we extract the content filtering as best as you can. In parallel a homemade cider syrup with white chocolate is made, plus a ginger and chocolate bitter.
 
Preparation: for cocktail service use 7 cl of the extracted mixture of the barrel, 1.5 cl homemade cider and chocolate syrup, 6 drops of the chocolate and ginger bitter and cool it all in a mixing glass. Serve into a glass and fill with cider brut. The result is a cocktail with a sweet beginning, a step in soft mouth and a final marked by tannins that gives us the oak.

This cocktail is part of the II Vintage Perfection Cocktails Edition - The Inheritors, the Spanish innovation project of cocktails matured in barrels by The Glenrothes.
