French Gimlet Saffron

Ingredients:

1 Cl.Egg white
5 Cl.Gin Saffron
3 Cl.Licor St. Germain
2 Cl.Lime Juice
2 Cl.Sugarcane Syrup

Preparation:

In the glass of a shaker put 3 to 5 rock ices and add all the ingredients. Shake vigorously until getting an homogeneous mixture and achieving good quality of foam and serve in a cocktail glass previously chilled, using double strainer.

Garnish: lime twist and sweet chive.

Inspiration: The name refers to the French origin of the main ingredients, Gin Saffron and St Germain. Mariano has used this gin for its particular hints, due to its botanics, and the final visual aspect of the cocktail that gives it colour and elegance. The St. Germain serves for accompanying and make the cocktail milder, giving it sweet hints that makes it achieve to another kind of palates. This variation makes that the cocktail is not only used as an aperitif but also as a post-meal.
