Brand:Britvic

History
The Britvic brand can trace its origins to the ‘The British Vitamin Product Company’, which was registered in 1938. In the aftermath of the economic depression, the company recognized the need for an affordable source of vitamin C, so it started to bottle fruit juices so that they stayed fresh for longer, without the addition of preservatives. The business flourished during the war years, having great appeal to a nation deprived of fruit and fruit juice and in 1947 the Britvic juice brand was launched. In 1971 the company changed its name to Britvic, in recognition of its leading brand’s appeal. In 1972, the company launched a range of Britvic mixers to complement its juice range and in 1978 Britvic 55 was introduced.

Description
Fizzing with the distinct characteristics of Quinine, its refreshing bitterness bursts with a distinctive aftertaste. Today we are the #1 supplier of Mixers & Juices in the UK On-Premise with 47% share. Carrying her majesty’s royal warrant, Britvic Mixers & Juices are a true British icon. In recent blind-tasting in Barcelona, Britvic Indian Tonic was picked out as the #1 tasting tonic by consumers, beating Fever Tree & Schweppes, amongst others, on sharpness, sweetness, & carbonization.

Tasting notes
Our Indian Tonic delivers a low-impact aroma of sweet, citrus & mandarin notes with an initially sweet mandarin flavour containing lemon dryness & bitterness. Its aftertaste leaves you with lingering sweetness and mandarin notes.
