History

The history of Cinzano began in 1757. Since the late nineteenth century it began to be commercialized worldwide. Since 1999 is part of Gruppo Campari.


Description

Classic Extra Dry Vermouth worldwide well known. Its production combine wine, herbs, spices and other natural ingredients specially selected worldwide. It has 18% of alcohol content and is sold in 950 ml bottles.


Tasting notes
  • Nose: intense aroma, dry and attractive with notes of herbs, flowers and spices that are part of its secret formula. 
  • Dry and smooth on the palate, very fresh. Ideal for drink it with ice.

Observations

It is the dry vermouth of the Cinzano family. Ideal to drink with ice and tonic water or in classic cocktails as the Clarito, creation of Santiago "Pichin" Policastro, one of the most famous bartender in the history of the mixology in Argentina. In 2012 after several years of absence, it came back to the Argentinian market.
