History

The history of cachaça began in the sixteenth century when the Portuguese took sugar cane to Brazil. Currently, in Brazil there are over 4000 different brands of cachaça.


Description

Spirit Brazilian cachaça based and citrus, with an alcohol content of 20%. The cachaça is a spirit made by fermenting the pulp raw cane sugar. The fermented juice is distilled in traditional stills usually to get a drink that is bottled or canned in wood. To prepare Sambao the cachaça is mixed with citrus and sugar is added in less than 10%.
