Family:Rum
Brand:Flor de Caña

History

Flor de Caña rum, the pride of Nicaragua, was first produced in the San Antonio sugar mill in Chichigalpa, in 1890.

Description

Flor de Caña acquires its nuances through aging in American oak barrels. Unlike other rums, this aging is accurately reflected in the labels of Flor de Caña: the 12 and 18 years are real and not an aging denomination range. In fact, many industry experts refer to this rum as the "single malt" of rums.

Tasting notes

Dark mahogany color and delicious flavor, packed in fine porcelain with inscriptions in gold of 24 carats.

Observations
  • To commemorate the XXI century, we have perfected the art of making rum. The result is Centanario Flor de Caña 21. Is the result of a slowly and genuine aging for fifteen years in small oak barrels.
