History

Over 250 years ago, Charles Edward Stuart – known as Bonnie Prince Charlie – sailed to Scotland to recapture the throne for his exiled family. Though he was just 23 years old, and spoke a foreign language, his passion for the cause was so fierce that he inspired an army of clansman to rise up against impossible odds.

The Jacobite Rebellion changed the course of history, and though it ultimately failed, it’s legacy – and Charlie’s name – lives on.

So too does his drink. Drambuie – his very own personal elixir. A secret formula that he carried with him and passed on to the loyal clan who joined him on the battlefield.
