History

As a result of the perfect distillation of orange bitter and sweet peels, pure water and neutral alcohol, Cointreau was created by Edouard Cointreau in 1875 with a secret recipe that remains unchanged for over 150 years.

Description
Known for its balance and this French "je ne sais quoi", Cointreau created the category of orange liqueur (triple sec) and remains as an essential ingredient in the development of classic and modern cocktails.
  • Distillation type: triple sec
  • Alcohol Content: 40°
  • From Angers, France.

Tasting notes

While drinking Cointreau you can perceive the essence of Azahar white flowers, fruits and spices combined with essencial oils of sweet and bitter oranges. This liquor is both intense and soft, sweet, bitter, warm and refreshing.

  • Pure: a transparent color, an intense and bitter aroma, oily and citrus flavor.
  • With ice: an opalescent color, fine and fruity aroma, sweet and fresh flavor.
