Observations

"The 1824 Series" is the range of single malts created by The Macallan whisky maker Bob Dalgarno, who has been able to establish a correlation between color and intensity, nature and complexity of the liquid, without relying on the usual aged criteria. The secret of the new range is the combination of sherry casks, identifying natural colors that are created during the ripening process in order to produce a unique whisky in aromas, flavors and nuances beyond restriction of the years. The method allows the whisky maker to get the best of The Macallan barrels park, in pursuit of excellence in the product without being limited by an age criterion. This is a completely innovative process and forward the future within the Scotch malt whisky sector.
